PGYTECH DJI Mavic 2 Pro filters ND/PL 8-16-32-64
The complete PGYTECH ND filter set for the DJI Mavic 2 drone with camera is specially designed to get the best out of your DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone in all circumstances. PGYTECH has combined the four main neutral density / polarization filters in this set: from ND8 to ND64. The set is intended to correct an excessive amount of light when filming with your drone, but also to prevent reflections. The filters are made of the very best quality optical glass and aviation aluminum, and therefore very lightweight so that your drone is not overloaded.
High-quality drone ND / polarization filters
The PGYTECH PRO filters are made of the high-quality Schott glass. This glass has a very high light transmission and it is provided with an oil- and water-repellent and anti-reflective multi-coating. They only weigh 1 gram each by using CNC aerospace aluminum for the frame. Thanks to that handy clip-on frame, you can simply click them in front of the lens of your DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Using an ND filter, also called a gray filter, you correct the shutter speed of the drone camera if there is too much light, giving your image a real cinematic look. A necessary accessory in sunny weather conditions, but also excellent protection for the lens of your precious drone.
Correction filters for DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone
The PGYTECH gray filter set for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone consists of correction filters that vary in strength from a light to a medium high correction factor. The ND16 filter takes away 4 f / stops light, the ND32 filter corrects 5 f / stops and the ND64 filter no less than 6 f / stops, which means that with the latter filter a shutter speed of 1 / 2,000 sec. goes down to 1/60 sec. You use these lightstoppers in bright lighting conditions where the shutter speed threatens to become too high. For example during a bright summer day, during winter sports or by the sea.
ND filters are necessary accessories
The PGYTECH ND / PL filters are necessary accessories for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro because, as with normal photo and video cameras, they reduce the amount of incoming light on the sensor and thereby prevent overexposed areas in your recordings. When filming with your drone, a gray filter ensures that you can also use slower shutter speeds in bright light, which is important when setting the correct frame rate of your camera. The shutter speeds with video are different than with a photo camera. To obtain the best film quality, you have to adjust the amount of incoming light to avoid a too fast shutter speed. By using the different PGYTECH ND filters you correct the shutter speed to 1/120 sec. for HD movies (1080/60) or to 1/60 sec. for 4K / 30.
