PGYTECH ND4 ADVANCED filter for DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone

With the PGYTECH High Definition (G-HD) ND filters for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro you correct an excessive amount of light when you film or photograph with your DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone. The ND4 filter reduces 2 f-stops light, which means, for example, a shutter speed of 1/250 sec. goes down to 1/60 sec. By using the different PGYTECH ND filters you correct the shutter speed of your drone to 1/120 sec. for HD movies (1080/60) or to 1/60 sec. for 4K / 30.

Correction filter for DJI Mavic 2 Pro drones

The PGYTECH gray filters are correction filters that vary in strength from a light to a high correction factor. You use these light stoppers in bright lighting conditions, if you run the risk of overexposure or the shutter speed is likely to become too high. For example during a bright summer day by the sea or during sunny days during winter sports. PGYTECH has no less than four different neutral density filters available in different strengths: from ND4 to ND32. They are very lightweight so that the drone is not overloaded, but made of the best quality optical glass for the best result.

High-quality ND filters for drones

The PGYTECH High Definition (G-HD) gray filters for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro are specially designed for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone and made of multi-coated optical glass. They only weigh 1 gram each by using CNC aerospace aluminum for the frame. Thanks to that handy clip-on frame, you can simply click them in front of the lens of your DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Using an ND filter, also called a gray filter, you correct the shutter speed of the drone camera if there is too much light, giving your image a real cinematic look. A necessary accessory in sunny weather conditions, but also excellent protection for the lens of your precious drone.

Filters are necessary accessories

The PGYTECH ND filters are necessary accessories for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro because, as with normal photo and video cameras, they reduce the amount of incoming light on the sensor and thereby prevent overexposed areas in your recordings. When filming with your drone, a gray filter ensures that you can also use slower shutter speeds in bright light, which is important when setting the correct frame rate of your camera. The shutter speeds with video are different than with a photo camera. To obtain the best film quality, you have to adjust the amount of incoming light to avoid a too fast shutter speed.

What are ND filters?

Neutral Density (ND) and polarizing (PL) drone camera filters are intended to reduce and / or filter the amount of light entering the camera. When applied correctly, ND / PL filters can make a big difference in color depth and contrast, and videos become smoother and cinematic due to an optimal shutter speed combined with recording speed (frames per second). Read more about Neutral Density and polarized camera filters here.

The advantages of ND / PL filters:

  • your photos and videos are less likely to be overexposed in bright sunlight,
  • your images get more color depth and contract,
  • your videos become smoother / more cinematic,
  • less glare and reflection (PL filters).
